Rockstar have added a new weapon as part of the Criminal Enterprises DLC – the Precision Rifle.
You can buy it in Ammunation or in any of your Weapon Workshops and it currently costs a cool $450k, but is it worth it?

It’s damage rating is good, rate of fire is OK for a rifle, accuracy is OK but poor for a rifle and it’s range is good. It fires one shot at a time and can usually take out NPCs in one shot. If you think of it as a longer range shotgun, then it’s worth considering, but compared to the sniper rifle or even better the Bunker research unlocked Heavy Sniper, it’s not your go-to for shots from range. It’s not even the most ‘precise’ rifle option.
Unfortunately, you can’t customise it beyond the livery, so you cannot add a scope, extend the magazine or switch to more powerful ammo.
So, in conclusion it’s a reasonable option, but better alternatives are available, particularly if you have access to a Bunker and can wait it out to unlock the MKII weapons.
