While you can still enter the Sewer without them, it’s definitely recommended that you source the Hamzat Suit and Sewer Blueprints before you do so in the Kortz Center Heist.

Without them you’ll be floundering around in the dark an slowly losing health.

The Sewer approach needs the following elements to run smoothly:

  1. You need to photograph the Sewer hatch in the middle of the maze during the scoping phase
  2. You need to find the Sewer key which will spawn in one of five possible locations (available during scoping and during the Heist itself). The locations are in this article here.
  3. You need to toggle the Heist planning board to the Hamzat Suit option in the Infiltration Gear on the left of the compulsory setup row
  4. You then need to run this setup mission and have to go first to the photo icon that shows and not the yellow marker (yet).
  5. Take a picture of the Blueprint and you’ll see the option to send it to Raf
  6. Then head over to the yellow marker and enter the building. Take out the leader and use your camera view to hover over his face until a scanner graphic appears
  7. You can use this scan to unlock the Basement room where you’ll find the Hamzat suit.
  8. Head back to your Mansion to complete the setup mission
  9. During the Heist you head over to the Sewer Manhole cover and you’ll be in the Hamzat suit and now, best of all, you’ll have a map to help you navigate your way to the left hand side and the entry to the Basement.

Of course, it would be much easier if you could do all that in one simple setup mission, but Rockstar are determined to make you work for it…
