Imani Tech is a great addition to GTA Online and in particular the Missile Lock-on Jammer – watch it in action in our video above.
This prevents any vehicle with auto-lock missiles from hitting your vehicle without a good aim or slice of luck. Better still if you add full armour, then your car can withstand a number of direct hits, giving you time to escape or fight back.
This can be a big help when you get targeted by a griefer on the notorious Oppressor MK2 as they can no longer fire auto-targeted shots at your car from any angle.
To add it you’ll need one of a specific set of vehicles from The Contract DLC updates:
- Enus Diety
- Dewbauchee Champion
- Bravado Buffalo STX
- Enus Jubilee
- Mammoth Patriot Mil-Spec
- Declasse Granger 3600LX (new addition)
It costs a pricey $400k, but it’s just about worth it, after all if you can afford an Agency, then you can probably afford that much to upgrade a car.
To install it, you need to enter your vehicle in your Agency garage with added Vehicle Workshop and select the option to modify it. You can choose the Remote Control Unit instead for $235k, but the Missile Lock-on Jammer is much more useful and worth the extra money.

I was just in a lobby and someone still locked onto my Buffalo stx with a mk1 oppressor. How is that possible

I do have the lock jammer but I was still being locked onto its bs
