Agency Safe explained in GTA Online, The Contract DLC

The Agency Safe from The Contract DLC is a great way of getting passive income in GTA Online, but how does it work?

These are the rules for generating income from the safe:

• First you need to buy an Agency from Dynasty8Executive on your in-game phone
• Then you’ll have an Office on the middle floor
• When you enter your Agency, you’ll see a dollar icon on your inside map. If the icon is grey there’s no money in the safe, if it’s green there is money to collect.
• To start filling up your safe you’ll need to complete Security Contracts. These can be launched from the laptop in your Agency Office or by calling Franklin to request one. If you call Franklin you get a randomly assigned one, but if you select them from your laptop you can choose which one you want to do from a choice of three
• The reset period for starting Security Contracts is 5 real-world minutes
• The amount added to the safe each in-game day will increase by $500 every for every 5 Security Contracts you complete, up to a maximum of 200 Security Contracts (note: it used to be 500 but Rockstar changed the limit)
• This means the maximum daily amount is $20k
• The safe will fill up with that amount every in-game day (around 48 real world minutes, you need to have the game open) even if you’re not doing Agency work
• The safe can contain a maximum of $250k so you’ll need to empty it every now and then or it will stop filling up
• When the safe is full the dollar icon will turn red and Franklin will text you to come and empty it. If you don’t empty it, it won’t fill up any more
