How to block annoying notifications in GTA Online

All GTA Online players are familiar with the barrage of messages you can receive when starting a new session. Phone calls, emails, player notifications, often one after the other…

However, there is a simple way to reduce the number of these or even block them all together if you prefer.

Open up the main GTA Online menu and go to Settings, then to Notifications. Here you’ll find the options to live a quieter life in the game.

You can set and disable the following by toggling the on/off setting:

– Phone alerts
– Stats alerts
– Friend updates
– Social club
– Store
– Tooltips

Plus, you can set overall the message frequency by time and even set it to ‘never’.
