As one review put it, it’s simple but addictive, an ideal combination for the small screen. Battle Fury has a board game feel as you create your army and then take them into battle. There are more than 50 characters you can add to your army and, as is standard, you can upgrade them to take on more advanced opponents. The graphics may not be the most sophisticated, but the gameplay is strong enough to compensate.

Normally a pricey £5.99 it’s currently free from iTunes here, so well worth a try for fans of the genre.
