With the 10th anniversary edition of Grand Theft Auto Vice City now available on iOS and Android, we’ve been getting stuck in to start researching the next of our how to guides. Unfortunately, on first play we encountered an annoying bug – the iPad keyboard appeared on first load and couldn’t easily be removed.
However, we found a quick fix to the problem. Simply do the following:
- Open up the Settings app
- Click on General
- Then on Keyboard
- Next set Split Keyboard to Off
- Double click the home button to bring up the GTA icon at the bottom of the screen, hold then close it (make sure it’s here, so you don’t delete the app, given how long it takes to download in the first place!)
- Open up the app again and it should be gone
If it’s still not working for you, let us know.
