If you’re busted or wasted by the cops they will impound your personal vehicle.
It’s easy to find once it’s been impounded as the location is always the same place and an icon will appear on the map marked ‘personal vehicle’.
There are then several options on how to get it back which we show in the video above:
- You can just walk up to the gate and pay your $250 fine. The gates will then open for you and you can collect your vehicle without collecting any wanted stars
- Or if you have an Assistant (need an Office), then you can call her to have it delivered next to your current location for $1000.
- Instead of paying the fine you can either walk into the compound from the side alley or jump over the wall behind it. Alternatively you can park a vehicle next to the gates and stand on it to jump over the wall
- If you break in to the impound in this way, then you’ll pick up wanted stars – we’ve picked up from 2-4 stars – and then you’ll need to escape the cops
- By far the easiest way is to head to the railway track nearby and head down into a tunnel and just wait it out as the cops rarely follow you into the tunnel
- When the wanted stars have gone, you’re free to drive away having avoided the fine as well
