Tips on Asset Protection Security Contract GTA Online The Contract DLC

Asset Protection can be a difficult Security Contract to complete given you’re not just protecting yourself, but also those crates and barrels from multiple waves and directions of attack.

There are different versions of the Contract, with the most common the one at the docks, but these tips below apply for both:

• While you can complete it on foot using a heavy weapon like an RGP or minigun or powerful rifle, it’s far easier in a helicopter with automatic missiles as this will do nearly all the work for you
• The Sparrow from the Cayo Perico Heist is a great choice as it’s fast, powerful, has accurate auto-targeting and it can spawn right next to you. Yes, it can destroy the odd crate, but it will save many more of them.
• Bear in mind though that the Sparrow requires a two minute wait to spawn it again which is why we recommend the ideal way is to start in another attack helicopter like the Hunter or Buzzard which you can buy from the Warstock website on your phone. That way if you’re taken our during the fight, you can spawn a Sparrow right next to you and won’t have to wait two minutes.
• The Molotov vans usually come from one direction, so as in the video line up your attack heli to point down that road and keep firing as they arrive. The key is to watch those vans – the bikers are annoying but don’t do as much damage and you can take them out when you’ve destroyed the vans themselves
• If you are on foot, a big issue can be blowing up the crates yourself if you’re using heavy weapons, so it can be better to use a powerful rifle or machine gun and to find a spot at an angle off the main road where the vans arrive as that will stop the bikers from creeping up behind you and getting surrounded.
• One other strategy is to decide to protect only one side of the crates which means you can take up a set position which can leave you less exposed to fire from the bikers trying to attack from another angle
• However, you final payout is based on the number of assets that you protect, so it pays to use the following method…

Updated method – use a tank

• Even better still it to use our updated method shown in the video below and use a tank. If you can afford the Agency office you can probably afford a tank from Warstock which gives you great protection and powerful weapons to get the job done and ensure the highest payouts by protecting (nearly) all the equipment.
• Best of all this method usually stops you from blowing up the equipment yourself giving you a higher final payout
