The Ballas Investigation mission is the second of the South Central Data Leak. It can be tricky with the waves of Ballas attacking you from all angles meaning that either you should take cover or, to make it as easy as possible, do what we do and get yourself a tank.

- If you can afford an Agency Office, then you can afford the tank, so get yourself onto Warstock and buy either the cheaper Rhino or the more expensive Khanjani. If you’re really skilled you can just steal one for free from Fort Zancudo…
- As you drive up to the yellow marker stop just before and call your mechanic and request your tank
- He will then deliver it a short distance away
- Jump back in the car and trigger the fight with the Ballas
- Get out of your car and run to the tank and then start firing at the waves of Ballas who stand no chance!
- The tank also means you’ll have little to no trouble from the cops who arrive while you follow Vernon to the interrogation
- An interesting sidetone is that no matter what you do to Vernon, including him blasting him with a tank cannon, you can’t hurt him at all, he’s in ‘god mode’, but it’s fun to try. Even the tank will bounce off him if you try to run him over…
- It’s as simple as that
