The Avenger, particularly after the Los Santos Mercenaries upgrades, is a seriously powerful vehicle in the game. However, it’s not immediately obvious how you get into the hold (back) when you’re flying and you’ll need to do so if you’re completing the Mercenaries set of missions.
On foot you simply exit the Avenger and walk around to the blue marker at the back but try that in flight and you’ll need a parachute and a new Avenger!
It’s not obvious as there’s not a simple button to press – in fact you need to open up the Interaction menu as follows:
– Services
– Avenger
– Engage Autopilot
– A button now appears to allow you to access the hold while in flight
From here you can access the array of powerful weapons available when using the Avenger and either search for the hidden cargo or destroy anything around you. To switch back walk to the front of the Avenger and an ‘enter cockpit’ message will appear.
