The new Los Santos Mercenaries DLC dropped on 13 June 2023 and to start it you’ll need to do a minimum set of things.
Firstly, you’ll just need to be outside to receive the initial call from Charlie Reed. Then you need to head to Warstock to buy your Avenger (unless you already have one), to select the Operations Terminal upgrade/renovation and then to head to a Hangar (yes, you are going to want one for this DLC in addition to any Facility you may have already) to add your upgrades.
When inside the Hangar enter your Avenger and click to ‘modify your aircraft’. You’ll now see a new set of ‘Charlie Upgrades’. As a minimum you need to add the Operations Terminal at a cost of $1.45m, but if you have the money it’s worth adding all the upgrades you can, in particular the additional weapons and stealth mode.
Once these upgrades have been added exit your Avenger and then access it via the blue marker at the back. Walk up to the Operations Terminal as indicator by the icon on the map inside your Avenger and then click to see your options.
There are two types of activity – Project Overthrow which is your set of story missions and LSA Operations which are a set of side missions to top up your cash on a regular basis earning you around $50k each time.
