The Union Depository Contract in the Los Santos Tuners DLC is one of the harder missions in GTA Online. Indeed I gave up on it for a while having got frustrated trying to escape the underground car park.

Rockstar have done a good job at making it a challenging final contract. For instance, you can’t drive any of the vehicles inside the car park as they are all locked meaning you have to fight your way out and any car you leave inside the car park will de-spawn when you leave the vault. It’s also a nice twist that the alarm only sounds when you pick up your second set of gold when you get a full 5 wanted stars.
So, how do you complete it? These are my top tips:
– Select a weapon set that includes explosives, grenades or sticky bombs
– Make sure you have maximum super heavy armour and snacks before you start and use the new mechanic of adding it quickly via the weapon wheel
– Use the cover in the corridor before you enter the car park to take out the majority of the guards
– Use the explosives to take out the security vans to the right and the police car and vans in front of you
– Once the car park is mostly clear use the yellow barrier to take cover and take out any remaining guards, but remember that the cops will keep spawning so you won’t be able to take out everyone
– Go to the left exit and creep around the corner taking cover and then use an explosive to take out the police car as that will remove several cops and Feds in one go
– Use your cover and shoot the Feds until the outside area is mostly clear
– Then make a run for it into the outside car park and turn right and right again onto the road under the bridge and back to your vehicle
– Although you have five wanted stars, it’s not a ‘full’ five stars as there are no helicopters shooting at you and there are less police cars than normal. As such you can lose your stars by driving off road and staying out of the cones of vision or in the usual way by heading into a train or tram tunnel
– Avoid the temptation to drive into the guys waiting for you at the finish or you’ll fail the mission!
