How to solve Print Cloner in Cayo Perico Heist – GTA Online

Whichever way you attempt to enter the basement in El Rubio’s Cayo Perico compound, you’ll need to pass the fingerprint scanner, a.k.a. the Print Cloner.

Steal the guard’s keys and you’ll only have to solve it once (or twice in Hard Mode) by entering through the basement level, but go through El Rubio’s office and you’ll need to solve three of them (or four in Hard Mode), each requiring one extra layer of the fingerprint.

However, there’s a very easy way to solve the fingerprint scan no matter how many fingerprints you’re faced with.

Here’s how:

1. First line up the top of the fingerprint on the top slice
2. Go down to the second slice and line up the top of the fingerprint and move it one to the right
3. Then go down to the third slice, line up the top of the fingerprint and move it twice to the right
4. Then go down to the fourth slice, line up the top of the fingerprint and move it three times to the right
5. Continue in this one as many times as required. For each fingerprint you attempt, you’ll need to solve one more slice each time.
6. No matter what, always start at the top as the bottom slices are aligned correctly depending how many slices you need to solve.
