Strategies for High Society Leak The Contract DLC GTA Online

The final High Society Leak is one of the harder missions in The Contract DLC in GTA Online, but as ever there are easier ways to do it.

The two key challenges are staying alive long enough to cause the required level of disruption at the party and then escaping the waves of helicopters and Merryweather jeeps that hunt you down.

Strategies on foot

• Keep to the edges of the mansion to avoid too many guards spawning
• Avoid the central area after you’ve destroyed the first set of cars or you risk being surrounded
• Use the walls for cover – there’s a good one just behind and above the DJ area
• Walk around the back of the mansion
• You can actually leave the mansion mid-mission and even climb on the walls and fire from a distance
• Note that the further away you are from the centre of the mansion the more time it can take

Strategies in car

• You can drive into the party and then start the carnage from the comfort of your seat to give you some more protection
• When the helicopter leaves the party it always follows the same route north west to the coast along the main road. Drive ahead of it and then use your minigun or RPG to inflict the damage and you should be able to destroy it before it reaches the yacht
• When you’re escaping with the phone, keep to the hills to reduce the Merryweather jeeps that chase you

Strategies in the air

• As per the video above, you can leave the mansion area at any time and then jump over the tunnel into Fort Zancudo where you can steal a jet
• You can use the jet in all parts of the mission – you can do flybys in your jet to cause disruption at the party using the homing missiles to auto-target the guards
• Likewise if you’re too slow to take down the helicopter then you can use a jet to do yet more flybys to take out nearly all the guards and the billionaire on the yacht
• If you keep high enough in the air when you trigger the required level of disruption, then you can start part two against the helicopter in your jet. This is tricky as your jet will start falling to the ground when the cut scene triggers as happened in the video above!
