There has been some confusion around whether the Finders Keepers ‘convoy’ Random Event in GTA Online will spawn in Invite-only lobbies.
Watch the video above to confirm that this is indeed the case – it will spawn in Invite-only or Public Lobbies, but only after 20 minutes in free mode.
It will spawn in one of 7 possible locations (see video above which expands the picture below), but it doesn’t spawn every time similar to the newly re-released Armoured Trucks Random Event. You need to be within 200 yards of each of the possible locations and then the usual blue dot for a Random Event will appear on the map. If it gets more than 200 yards out of range, the blue dot will disappear although you can still catch it up.
Shoot at the vehicle and the occupants will usually just get out and start firing back or you will need to perform a drive-by or block the vehicle to jack it.
There are 7 different vehicles that spawn, each of which corresponds to a particular business and if you can drive the vehicle back to that business then you will re-supply it. If you don’t own that business or it’s already full of supplies then a different location will appear on the GPS and you will gain $25k instead for a safe delivery.
The 7 different business types are: Counterfeit Cash, Document Forgery, Bunker, Weed, Coke, Acid and Meth.
When you’ve entered the vehicle, not only will you need to lose the wanted stars, but also 3 waves of attackers will try and take you out. You can either simply floor it to keep clear of them or return fire. You have 15 minutes to complete the delivery.
