The Warehouse is a good source of GTA Online income, but it’s not immediately obvious how best to source the Special Cargo crates that you can sell for profit.
See the video above for how to do so.
There are a number of ways in which you can source the Special Cargo:
- Employee: your Warehouse comes with an employee who shows up as an icon on the map. Walk up to the icon and then request them to source Special Cargo for you. You can do this once per in-game day.
- Office computer: first register as a CEO via the Securoserv option on your Interaction menu and then sit at the computer in your Office. Click on ‘Special Cargo’, then on the ‘Warehouse Map’ and then click on the green icon for your owned Warehouse(s). You then have the option to source Special Cargo. While it’s slightly better profit to source 1 crate at a time it’s more efficient to do 3 at a time. There’s a five minute cooldown after each set of Special Cargo sourced, but it’s specific to an individual Warehouse meaning you can source Special Cargo for another one of your Warehouses, if you own more than one.
- Master Control Terminal: the Master Control Terminal can be purchased as an option when you buy an Arcade. From it, you can source Special Cargo for your Warehouse, along with supplies and cargo for any other businesses that you may own.
- Terrorbyte: if you own one, walk into the back of your Terrorbyte and approach the Touchscreen Computer from which you can source Special Cargo for your Warehouse(s).
Unlike other businesses in the game, such as the Nightclub or Acid Lab, you can’t call your Office Assistant to source Cargo. Your Assistant does have the option of an ‘Export Mixed Goods’ option for 50k, but it’s unrelated to your Warehouse and is just a one-off mission.
