When you buy a new helicopter from Warstock in GTA Online, it’s not obvious where to find it and how to make it a Personal Vehicle.
The video above walks you through each step of the process.
Firstly, you need to wait for a notification from Pegasus which usually takes around a minute. This will say something like: “Your new Cargobob Jetsam is now confirmed available from Pegasus”. Great, but where is it?
It’s not available from your Mechanic, your Assistant, can’t be found on a helipad (as in Story Mode) nor is it even available YET from the Interaction Menu or found in your Hangar (again YET).
To locate your new helicopter first you need to call Pegasus on your phone and select it from the Pegasus Concierge menu for which they will charge a small fee of a few hundred dollars depending on the helicopter model. Pegasus will then deliver it to a location nearby and the helicopter icon will appear on the map.
Adding your heli as a Personal Vehicle
Next you need to convert it into a Personal Vehicle. Get into your heli and fly it to the doors of your owned Hangar. A cut scene will then be triggered and it will be converted into a Personal Vehicle.
At the back of the Hangar is a blue icon from which you can place your helicopters and planes within the Hangar and decide which ones are immediately visible if you more than a few.
Now your heli is a Personal Vehicle you can request it from the Interaction Menu under Vehicles > Personal Aircraft and it will be delivered nearby to a suitable location.
If your heli gets destroyed then you need to call Mors Mutual Insurance from your phone to get a replacement vehicle. They will deliver it back to your Hangar, but you can still request it to spawn nearby by using the Interaction Menu as above.
