If you’re struggling with the Dax Fooligan sabotage operation mission ‘Write-Off’, then you may be relieved to know there’s an easy way to complete it.

If you use your attack helicopter, the air defences will destroy your heli. If you go on foot the heavily armed reinforcements will likely take you out. So, what’s the best strategy?
As with the Asset Protection mission in the earlier DLC, the tank is your saviour. It will let you get up close and personal with the Merryweather targets despite facing multiple attacks. And unlike in the First Dose missions, you can ask your Mechanic to deliver one right next to you.
Of course – unless you decide to steal one from Fort Zancudo before starting the mission – you’ll most likely need to buy one and they don’t come cheap. You can get the Rhino for $1.5m, but if you can afford it, it’s even better to get the Khanjali tank which is more powerful and better armoured.
The tank makes short work of this Dax mission and as an added bonus you can destroy anything you like with it when escaping the Merryweather site without attracting wanted stars, at least until you’ve completed the mission…
