The Voltlabs signal box can be a little confusing at first, but in reality it’s a simple Maths game.
You solve it by doing some multiplication using the numbers and symbols to get the number at the bottom to match the number at the top.
The key to solving it is understanding what the symbols represent:
- It’s usually best to start with the ‘x’ as this multiples your chosen number by 10
- Next is the ‘≠’ which multiplies the number by 2
- The ‘Φ’ is even simpler as it just multiplies by 1
So, just remember your times tables and work your way towards the number at the bottom.
If all of that feels like just too much work, then there’s always trial and error to get you there.
Just remember that the numbers and symbols will appear in different places each time so it’s not a case of remembering the right sequence as you can with the fingerprint cloner.
