Once you’ve bought an Auto Shop from Maze Bank Foreclosures via your GTA phone’s browser, this is how the customer cars process works in GTA Online.
The video above shows you each step of the process.
Firstly, you should note that you can’t source your own cars for the Auto Shop by calling Sessanta and if you drive a car into the Auto Shop it will just get added as part of your garage allocation.
Instead, you need to wait for Sessanta to contact you by text confirming that a new customer car has arrived at the Auto Shop.
The timings for this are as follows and depend on whether you’ve upgraded your Auto Shop to include a second Car Lift:
– One Car Lift (default): after one in-game day (48 real-world minutes), there is a 50% chance that a customer car will arrive at the Auto Shop in the next in-game day. If one doesn’t arrive, then there’s another 50% chance one will arrive the next in-game day. And if one still hasn’t arrived in that in-game day, then you’ll get one in the next 10 minutes.
– Two Car Lifts (upgrade): if you have two Car Lifts, then all the above timings are halved, so after half an in-game day (24 real-world minutes), there is a 50% chance a customer car will arrive, then a 50% chance in the following half day, and then if you a car still hasn’t arrived you’ll get one in the next 5 minutes.
Deliveries
Once you’ve made the notifications requested by the customer then you have two options. Either you can deliver it yourself and earn the full bonus if you don’t damage the vehicle en route.
Alternatively, if you’ve bought the Staff upgrade of one or two staff members, then you can get them to deliver the car for you. However, the Staff are unreliable and rarely deliver the vehicle in pristine condition meaning you earn less on average by getting the staff member to deliver it.
