How the Acid Lab works in GTA Online

The new Los Santos Drug Wars DLC is here and with it comes a new business and associated vehicle the Brickade 6×6 Acid Lab.

Unlike other businesses in the game, there are a number of steps you need to go through before you can purchase one.

1. Firstly, you need to re-launch your Rockstar Launcher to download the new DLC update
2. When you walk outside you’ll get a call from Ron and be given a ‘R’ location on the map to start a set of six ‘First Dose’ missions given to you by new character, Dax
3. The final of these six missions involves you stealing the Brickade 6×6 and delivering it back to the Freakshop
4. You’ll the need to complete a supplies mission as you do in setting up other businesses in the game
5. Walk over to Mutt inside the Freakhouse to get started

Once you have done the above, there are a number of upgrades you can make to the Brickade and its associated motorbike, making the Brickade nearly invulnerable to attack when fully upgrading its armour.

Update: you can now just buy one straight from Warstock for the full price of $1.45m (or do the above to get the discounted price).

How the Acid Lab business works

Supplies: to get supplies you can simply call Dax when outside to purchase a new set of stock for $60k. Alternatively, drive or request the Acid Lab via the Interaction menu’s Services option and you can chose to steal supplies. Return the Acid Lab and then request it to spawn nearby when you’ve bagged the supplies

Selling: once you’ve build up enough supplies to sell, enter the back of the Brickage and walk next to the supplies icon (you’ll need to register as a CEO/VIP/MC President via the Interaction menu). This then triggers one of a set of sell missions on the motorbike. Best of all, it’s all done with this single vehicle rather than the nightmare of having to do multiple vehicle deliveries on your own with not enough time to complete them. You are also able to use the Ghost Organisation option to hide from the radar which opens up the Public Lobby option where you get an additional 2% per player in the lobby.

Upgrades: you can speed up production (for half an hour) once a real-world day by the fast-forward icon inside the Acid Lab. You can also seriously upgrade your production even further after you’ve completed 10 missions for Dax which you trigger by calling him on your phone, although bear in mind that you can only complete one every in-game day (48 real-world minutes). You can then upgrade production which not only speeds up production by a third but also increases the value of your product by just over 40%.

Use all the upgrades and it’s the most lucrative passive income business in the game when regularly re-supplied, although the Nightclub warehouse is easier as there are no re-supply missions required and likewise it only requires a single delivery vehicle.
