So, you’ve invested millions of your hard-earned money in GTA Online in a super yacht, but how do you move it?
First, the bad news. Despite that sizeable investment you can’t sail it around the map in free mode. Or, if you’re jealous of someone else’s yacht you can’t sink theirs…
However, there is a way to move the yacht around the map. Unbelievably you still have to pay $25k for the privilege…
Head to the bridge and stand next to the captain. A menu then pops up with the option to move the boat. There are a number of locations around the map, but if someone else in your GTA Online session is already in that spot, then you can’t select it.
The options take you a full 360 around the map, so just choose the one that’s easiest to get to, or if you’re that way inclined the one with the best view!
Cue a short cut scene for your $25k and you are transported to the location of your choosing. You could view it as a very expensive way to move quickly around the vast map, but there are much better ways to do so, e.g. use a helicopter or jet.
